First is my new male kitten "Patty Paws."
He is a 12 week-old kitten, and born on September 1st, 2020
The owner I got him from called "Her," "Beut." Short for "Beauty." WELL. A couple days later I found out he is most defiantly not a girl! Lol. "She," a is actually a "He." hmm.
My mom found him on craigslist just a couple days after my beloved cat ran away. I wanted another kitten as close to Licorice as I could get. :-) So the day after my mom and I took the one hour drive to Fresno to pick him up for $25.00. I instantly loved him, and after getting in the car I felt his tail remembering Licorice's "Kink" in her tail. I was shocked to find an exact kink just below the top of his tail! And his stripe was almost identical to Licorice's when she was a kitten!
But his personality is practically the opposite of my other cat. in fact, he makes me barely even miss my puppy I had before. Lol. He is adorable in every way, and just as smart. He is also the most friendly cat, and I love him just as much as I loved Licorice. Maybe even more.
Licorice Patty Paws
Second on the list are my goats. I have three does, and one buck.
Two of the does will kid the end of January 2021.
My first doe is "Velvet." She is almost two, and she is a brown Toggenburg. Velvet is very smart and comes to her name. She is bred to my Nubian buck, (Same as last year, and had a girl and a boy.) Velvet also "Shakes" on command, and is my first and favorite goat.
My second doe is actually Velvet's daughter, "Trixie." She will be bred soon to my buck.
Trixie is six months old, and she is half Nubian, and half Toggenburg. She also comes from wonderful milking lines, so she will have tasty milk soon.
My third goat is "Harmony." She is a five year-old black and white Alpine doe. Harmony had two bucklings last year, so hopefully she will make up for that this year. *smiles*
Harmony is the very best milker I have ever seen. With giving past a gallon of rich milk a day and feeding two huge bucklings at the same time, this girl is the best!
My third and final goat is the buck "Puzzle" and he is at the bottom of this list for a good reason, too.
puzzle is in a separate pen, (except breeding season, when he can jump any fence in front of him to get to the girls.) *slaps face for teaching him to jump past four feet*
But he actually behaves himself most of the time. He is a one year old purebred Nubian buck, with a few dapples. Puzzle is also tri-colored.
Third on my list are my Silkie chickens, I currently have eight of them. They are my "Floofies" As I call them.
(Pic soon)
---(IN MEMORY OF LICORISE)
Licorise is one of the first pets I have ever owned. I got her as a kitten when She is almost Seven years old, and a beautiful Tuxedo cat. She enjoys snuggling under my covers at night. Licorise She expects the best from me, and is defiantly a "One-person-cat." She never likes anyone picking her up except the one who spoils her. (Me of course.)
She has quite the personality and loves waiting for me at the table every morning for her "Breakfast" Of a little splash of milk. :-)
